Our comment about this sport




First we are going to start talking a little bit about what this sport is, it is an extreme winter sport, in which a board is used to slide on a snow-covered slope. Its first appearance was in 1910, when people fitted their feet to a wooden board. 
snowboarding became more popular at the end of the 70s and 80s; the development of snowboarding was inspired by skateboarding, surfing and skiing. it was developed in the United States in the 1960s and became a winter olympic sport at Nagano in 1998. Like some other winter sports, snowboarding comes with a certain level of risk; injuries are more likely amongst beginners, specially those who do not take lessons with professional instructors.
A quarter of all injuries occur to first-time riders and half of all injuries occur to those with less than a year of experience. Two thirds of injuries occur to the upper body and one third to the lower body.
Our opinion about this sport is that it is probably the best extreme sport because it helps to liberate yourself of different types of stress that people can suffer of maybe because of the work or school. the cause of this is because it generates a lot adrenaline in our bodies and this hormone increase the output of the heart, blood sugar level, besides other things.
For us, this sport is very interesting because it also can work as a great workouts. It is a good cardiovascular exercise that strengthen the heart so while you are having fun you are also taking car of yourself.
